Latin Name: Lavandula angustifolia
Chemistry: Linalyl Acetate, Linalool, B-Caryophyllene.
Aroma: Sweet, floral, fresh.

Traditional use: One of the most versatile essential oils and plants. Its use as an analgesic has been well documented over the years and is one of the most studied essential oils.
The aroma of lavender is very easily recognised and can be pretty divisive. However, when well blended with other essential oils, it is surprising how many who would previously not tolerate it on their end up loving blends with lavender as a part of a synergy.
